These crash bars’ primary function is for rear protection of the motorcycle like the exhaust tailpiece, pillion foot pegs, indicators and rider’ legs in the event of a crash. The protection bars are also utilized for mounting soft luggage, extra fuel tanks and tool tubes. The mounting/deflector plates also shield the luggage from direct exhaust heat.
